The Vampirism & Energy Work Research Study is solely financed by Suscitatio Enterprises, LLC and through your individual support. We do not receive or accept direct funding from outside vampire and/or energy worker community sources such as universities, governmental bodies, or other private institutions aside from unrelated projects and contracts. This is a neutral study and in order to avoid bias and maintain exclusive rights over this data we will continue to adhere to this principle. We sincerely appreciate your support of our research!
August 2010 marks the four year anniversary of the release of the combined VEWRS & AVEWRS - Vampirism & Energy Work Research Study. The Vampirism & Energy Work Research Study is a detailed sociological and phenomenological study of the real vampire community conducted by Suscitatio Enterprises, LLC. Two surveys were released in 2006 that were answered by over 950 individuals from all paths within the vampire community and throughout the world (online and offline). The first was the Vampire & Energy Work Research Survey (VEWRS) with 379 Questions in March 2006; and the second was the Advanced Vampirism & Energy Work Research Survey (AVEWRS) with 609 Questions in August 2006. From 2006 to 2009 a combined response total (VEWRS & AVEWRS) reached over 1,450 surveys or over 670,000 individually answered questions; making it the largest and most in-depth research study ever conducted on the real vampire/vampyre community or subculture.
Our research has been cited in over a dozen books, four academic papers, five magazines, four print newspapers, dozens of online news articles, three national radio broadcasts, eight internet radio/podcasts, three YouTube videos, and a variety of miscellaneous blogs. We are presently working on compiling a series of larger data sets and working on multiple publications concerning the research data. This work literally involves thousands of man hours of time as we sift through the data and this is the primary reason for the delays in publication of new charts (we have day jobs, families, and other responsibilities we have to see to along the way).
This monumental project for the real vampire community has not materialized absent of considerable cost and we would appreciate any financial support you are willing and able to contribute. We realize we will likely never be able to fully recuperate the thousands of dollars we spent on this important project but if enough individuals pitch in we will be able to make a dent in some of this debt and more importantly have the financial means to see this research study carried to the next level.
